Design Zone recently restored the Chitti Haveli (Ganga Niwas), a historic marvel built in 1937, to its original grandeur. After extensive research on the building’s architecture, the key was preserving the building’s historical essence, replacing the aging materials to ensure its structural integrity. This architectural gem holds significant historical importance and has hosted prominent political figures such as Jawaharlal Nehru and Liaquat Ali Khan during the Independence Movement. The current owner of the Haveli is Mr. Shahid Bahir, who had the vision to undertake the restoration project.
